Cindy Ngo of the Calgary Health Trust spoke to the Millennium members at the clubs regular Wednesday meeting at the Winston Golf and CC. The Calgary Health Trust has set a goal to raise $60 Million in the next 1-2 years in order to enhance and upgrade the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Foothills and South Campus Hospitals and is looking for assistance from Rotary. Funds will be matched if donated by Dec 31 2019 and will assist with upgraded premises and equipment and add need beds to the units. 1 in 8 newborns in Southern Alberta require the special care provided by at the NICU.
