Together with a strong interdisciplinary team of professionals, she is developing the first recreation therapy-based wellness day program for Calgarians with young onset dementia (under age 65). Her interest and experience with young onset dementia began when her father-in-law was diagnosed at age 52, and continues with her husband who was diagnosed in 2007 at age 48.
