Hi all Presidents

I am forwarding to you an invitation to Inclusion Alberta’s Fundraising Breakfast. I thought that I would get this out prior to your All-Presidents meeting Monday to give you time to see if you could fit this into your busy schedules. Both District 5360 and 5370 have formally endorsed the Inclusion Alberta/Rotary Partnership.
As a background, Inclusion Alberta is a family-based non-profit federation that advocates on behalf of children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Rotary, Inclusion Alberta and the Government of Alberta are committed to working in partnership with the business and broader community to create meaningful employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities - to create the kind of possibilities that contribute to the fullness of community life. Inclusion in community life today creates better communities for everyone tomorrow. To date the Inclusion Alberta/Rotary Partnership has created more than 345 meaningful jobs for adults with developmental disabilities with an average wage of more than $14 per hour.
I would encourage those that have the time, and who want to learn more about Inclusion Alberta to attend the Breakfast.
Thanks and see you all on Monday

Subject: Inclusion Alberta Breakfast Invitation

Hello Dan,

It was so nice to meet you at lunch today. Rotary (and the world) is very blessed to have such a wise and passionate leader as the future District Governor!

As per our discussion, I’ve attached an invitation to our upcoming Fundraising Breakfast next week Thursday November 9th at the Westin Hotel (7:30-8:30 am).  I’m so glad you can attend and we would be thrilled if some of the other club presidents could attend as well (although we fully understand it is very short notice). We do prepare name tags for each guest and we want to ensure we have enough settings, muffins, fruit etc. so we will need people to RSVP ASAP (RSVP info on the invitation).

The continental breakfast is free, it is only one hour, and there is no obligation to give, but there is an explicit ask for donations at the event. It is a high-quality event where you will hear about the work we do from people whose lives we touch.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks again for your support for our partnership and I look forward to seeing you at the breakfast next week!

Carla
